2020 Fiat Toro: Updates, Specs, Price

When we are speaking about the pickup trucks an instant association is on the full-size models which dominate the sales in the US and mid-size trucks that enjoy greater popularity outside the States. However, the Fiat Toro is another successful pickup truck form which became an instant hit after the 2017 launch in Brazil. In some markets, this truck is being sold as the Ram 1000 and there were speculations about its launch in the US. However, that won’t likely happen as FCA should return the mid-size model to the US as this kind of truck has better perspective there.

Still, the Toro is selling well especially in Brazil where more than 100, 000 examples found their owners in first two years after the debut. The model has continued well in 2019 with the market share close to 30 percent. Fiat has updated this well-equipped model annually but the 2020 Fiat Toro will go on the market in the refreshed form.

For the 2020 model year, the Toro gets some styling updates combined with the technological improvements. There is also more standard and available equipment. The base Endurance model will be available with two new options including a 1.8-liter Flex engine with manual gearbox and turbodiesel with the 9-speed automatic. The model benefits also from the improved infotainment system. The trim range counts four again but there is a new S-Design package. The new Ultra trim should also appear later. The color palette gets also three new shades.
