2019 Mitsubishi Triton: Fresh Styling, Changes

2019 Mitsubishi Triton

While in the US buyers favorize the full-size trucks, the global market is inclined toward the mid-size models and this market is constantly growing. The models are becoming more stylish and luxuriously equipped and the carmakers don’t hesitate to update the models annually.

Mitsubishi is also the strong contender in the market and the Triton or in some markets L200 model is the good value for the money. The Fiat-badged Fullback is also derived from the Triton model. The Triton competes with the redesigned Ford Ranger which also has now the Raptor version and there are also the refreshed VW Amarok, Nissan Navara, Isuzu D-Max, etc.

The Triton was redesigned in 2015 and still keeps the bar high in class. The model is in the line with the class leaders in the towing category thanks to the 2018 model year updates when it also received the updated infotainment system. However, it seems that Mitsubishi doesn’t waste the time and the model was spotted while testing ahead of the closing launch for the new model year.

The model also has the tweaked rear side elements and we should also expect new details inside the cabin. The model will likely upgrade the safety equipment and the running rig should also benefit from some improvements.
